August 31, 2008 — Tree house roof done!
Took about 3 hours, but the roof is finally on the tree house. Lauren (4 year old daughter) had to see it after dark, so she tracked down a flashlight and we made the adventurous trip across the yard. I hit my head once and I think I have a minor concussion, but all-in-all I’d say the project was a success. One upside, while working on the treehouse today I met our new neighbors, which wouldn’t have happened if I’d spent the day inside.
